Make a Difference: Support Our Diaper Donation Drive with Compassion Network

In collaboration with Compassion Network, we are organizing a diaper drive to assist families in need.

As part of a group of churches involved in this project, our success hinges on your support.

You can contribute by assisting with distribution every 3rd Saturday at Fremont Community Church between 9:30 AM and 12 PM. Please register below.

Children Needs

• NEW - Newark: Family with 2 disabled daughters needs kid’s clothes: girls tops and pants (5T & 6T); shoes (children’s 8 & 11). Also needs diapers size 4 & 7.

• Fremont: Family is in need of baby bouncer, and clothing for their 6 children.

• Union City: Client will be fostering her newborn niece and needs a changing table, small dresser, infant diapers, stroller, and baby bottles.

• Fremont: Family with 3 children and another coming received a crib, but still needs a stroller and baby supplies.

• Fremont: Stroller donated, but still needs clothes for 6 month baby (size 9-10 month). Toys also appreciated.

• Fremont: Client new to area is in need of a baby stroller.

  Homeless Needs

We are always in need of walking shoes and socks for our unsheltered friends! 

• NEW - No location listed: Unhoused female is in need of a small-medium generator (camping style).
• NEW - Newark: Client with 4 children fled domestic violence situation. Needs hygiene items: deodorant, lotion, toothpaste, shampoo, bubble bath, etc. Toys for 1yr, 2yr, & 3yr would be appreciated.

 Service Needs

• NEW - Union City: 13 year old twin boys need help with math, writing and reading.

• Fremont: Woman in her 90’s and renting a room needs help moving from her Fremont location to another room in Fremont. Moving only boxes of clothes and personal items; no furniture. Also, her new room needs a dresser.

• Fremont: Older client who lives alone and has no nearby family has a City of Fremont Code Enforcement situation. Needs help to reduce size of yucca tree and clear out front and back yard debris. City will provide large bin for debris. Great opportunity for friends and groups to come together and serve a community member.

Household Items & Furniture

• NEW - Fremont: Family of 7 needs a bike and lock for male college student to get to school.

• NEW - Newark: Client with family of four struggling after wife’s car accident is in need of a car battery (Silver group size 51R). Needs it to get to work and take kids to school.

   

• NEW - Fremont: Family of four is in need of a queen mattress, new if possible due to allergies. Also seeking a television.

   

• NEW - Fremont: Family of five is in need of a queen mattress, TV table, and coffee table.

   

• Union City: Family is in need of a washing machine (28" x 27") and adult bike for adult male.

   

• Union City: Struggling woman with 2 teens has needs for her apartment: pots/pans, kitchenware, utensils, 2 twin beds, 1 double bed, kitchen table/chairs, TV.

   

• Fremont: Client and her young son are setting up new residence as a result of domestic violence. She is in need of: dining table/chairs, 2 queen bed frames (mattress not needed), smart TV, couch, coffee/end tables, recliner, cookware, microwave, fans, desk/chair, vacuum, portable heater, mixer.

   

• Hayward: Family with 4 children and new to the area is seeking pots/pans, dishes, couch, beds for the kids ages 2 to 10 years, and dresser.

   

• Berkeley: Cedars Church has provided paper goods and cleaning supplies to our newly housed client; a wagon for grocery shopping, blender, and TV are still requested.

   

• Fremont: Client who lives with daughter and grandson is in need of king or queen bed; bedding, sofa, and bathroom towels
