Unshaken: Principles for Thriving in an Unhinged World

How do we live faithfully in a world that often feels loud, fast, and unsettled?
Unshaken: Principles for Thriving in an Unhinged World returns as a trusted Adult Christian Formation offering focused on biblical wisdom for everyday life.

This study helps participants connect Scripture to real-world challenges, reminding us of God’s promises and guidance for faithful living. Rather than removing us from life’s complexities, Unshaken equips us to live with conviction, purpose, and clarity in the midst of them.

Through Scripture study and thoughtful discussion, participants are encouraged to see their own story reflected in God’s story and to grow in practical faithfulness.

Unshaken meets Sundays from 9–10 AM beginning February 1 and is facilitated by a team of experienced leaders. Sessions are held online via Zoom.

Book-by-Book: A  Bible Study from Genesis to Revelation in One Year

The Urban Ministry Institute (UMI), chaired by Pastor Emeritus Dr. Stanley Long, has provided churches and other groups with a weekly bible study class to study God’s Word.

South Bay Community Church continues to present classes of the UMI material as we grow together in God’s Word.

UMI is now presenting a book-by-book journey through the Bible to churches in one year.

These classes cover a primary Biblical principle of each book from Genesis through Revelation and will help you read and study the Bible in one year.

This book-by-book study of God’s Word will emphasize applications for activating the bible book principle theme in our daily lives.

We will read and know God’s Word from all Biblical books and contributions of people from many nations, cultures, ages, and genders.

Join us every Sunday, 9-10 AM on Zoom!

Wednesday Evening Chronological Bible Study (CBS)

Looking for an energizing bible study of His Word? The Chronological Bible Study studies the Bible chronologically from Old Testament to New Testament and meets each week on Wednesday evening from 7-9.
Class Logo
As we grow in our relationship with God and desire a deeper understanding of His Word, sometimes reading random portions of the Old and New Testament may not be sufficient or as rewarding.

CBS may be what you want. With fresh eyes and an open mind, you can be energized and edified by this chronological Bible study just as the events happened in history.

Registration is limited. Classes are held every Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. via ZOOM.
