Bryan Murphy, Lead Pastor

Pastor Murphy is a long time member of SBCC. He received his Masters of Divinity degree from Fuller in September of 2008. He has been on the Pastoral Staff since 2006, previously serving as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor prior to accepting his current call in the fall of 2010.

Tammy Long, Executive Pastor

Tammy serves as our Executive Pastor. Her passion is helping people grow in all God intends for them to become, as they discover and apply the wisdom of God's Word to their daily lives and relationships.

She holds a Masters Degree in Education and has served in various ministry roles including small group leader, Sunday school teacher, family minitries coordinator and children's ministry coordinator for over 20 years.

Arthur Flamer, Worship Pastor

Art brings over 15 years of increasing responsibility in worship leadership. Music administration and project management experience. His objective is to participate in a Christ-centered setting which allows me to use his gifts and training to develop a powerful music and arts ministry that glorifes God.

Tyler Watson, Missions and Evangelism Pastor

Tyler serves as Missions and Evangelism Pastor. He is committed to the Church embracing the mission God has given it to announce the good news of God's kingdom through words and actions. He loves exploring the deep connection between spiritual formation and mission. Tyler has a MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary.

Leedah Wong, Youth & Young Adult Pastor

Leedah serves as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor. His passion is to fuse life on earth with the Kingdom of God through compassion ministries, expositive and passionate preaching and above all, love. He has served in various youth and young adult settings for the past 10 years. Leedah also loves music: he minored in Classical Guitar at CSU East Bay, drums for a Christian rock group, and produces music albums with his wife, Jess. He is now on track for an M. Div from Fuller Seminary in Summer of 2011, and in his spare time, enjoys playing basketball, eating Chicken Tikka Masala, and laughing at extra lame puns.

Celeste Bernard, Children's Director

Celeste serves as our Director of Children's Ministry. She holds a teaching certificate in Pre-school and Elementary Education and a B.A. in Theater Arts from Rutgers University. Her goal is to lead children toward knowing and accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Dr. Stanley B. Long, Founding Pastor

Pastor Long, founder of South Bay Community Church in 1985, has served in Christian Ministry for over 44 years. He has a M.A. from Fuller Theological Seminary; M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University; and a Doctor of Divinity from Nyack College. He serves on the Board of Directors of Urban Ministries, Inc. and the Board of Trustees at Fuller Theological Seminary.

A writer, shepherd, teacher, servant, friend...A man from the very heart of God. Pastor Long loves his family, friends and sharing laughter.He is committed to excellence in education and living a life of integrity.

Louise Alexander, Graphics Specialist

Louise serves as our resident Graphics Specialist and Servant Leader of our Publishing Ministry. She is the Youth Ministry Administrator and also serves as the Co-Director of the Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Dept. specializing in Marketing and Publications. She also facilitates a SBCC small group for 'Big Mamas'.

She holds her degree in Multimedia Communications and Presentations from Master's Institute. She retired from San Jose State University after 27 years of service. She also worked with several nonprofit organizations, as well as with a small publishing company in Milpitas as the Graphics Design Manager. Louise began working at South Bay with a goal of improving the printed visual image of SBCC to its members and the community at large. Louise is dedicated to using her gift to the glory of God and feels that she is truly "too blessed to be stressed."

Debra A. Williams, Bookkeeper
