*Lydia L. Davis serves as the Director of our Marketing and Communications (MarCom) Group comprised of Audio, Broadcasting, Duplication, Lighting, Media Center, Photography, Presentation, Publishing and Web Ministries. As a new member with vision upon her recommendation for screen projection, She created the Presentation Ministry in 1995. Envisioning synergy among similarly-purposed ministries, she proposed a MarCom business plan merging and creating multimedia ministries that now serve in partnership with one another to help meet the vision and mission of the Sr. Pastor, the church and the community.
Lydia's passion and love for children also inspired her to create and served for 9 years as the Servant Leader of our Infant Recognition Cradle Rock-n-Roll (ages 0-2 year olds) & Dedication Ministries. Also for six years, she served as an Interpretive Signing consultant for our Children's Choir and has also served as a Team Leader in the Hosting Ministry for a few years.
Lydia is a servant, shepherd, leader, mentor and teacher. She has lead or facilitated small groups such as a ChristCare small group for those "Living with Chronic Pain" and for a few "40-Day" small groups. Her Gifts of the Spirit are: Serving, Administration and Shepherding.
*Lydia earned her Degree and Certifications in Marketing Communications from DeAnza College and San Jose State University specializing in Advertising, Internet Marketing Communications, and Public Relations.
*Lydia has been a serving SBCC family member since September 1995.
