Pastor Lee King served in the US Marine Corp as an Advertising and Marketing Executive from 1970-78.
He has been a member of SBCC since October 2001:
- accepted Christ on November 29,1976; was ordained Baptist and AME pastor in 1982;
- served as Director of Asian, Black & Hispanic ministries at Fuller Seminary;
- recipient of Carlton Booth Evangelism Award;
- recipient of World Vision International Grant for Inner Cities ministries;
- pastored 12 years for AME Church (Perris and LaJolla, California, Kansas City, Missouri, and Omaha,Nebraska);
- hosted a radio talk show for six years.
