South Bay Community Church -

Our Vision:

To help couples recognize the need to place God at the center of their marriages by building a ministry that will enhance and nurture the personal and spiritual growth of couples within the church and the surrounding bay area; by establishing small geographical groups that will encourage the daily application of God's word through ongoing fellowship; teach the necessity of good stewardship that will result in the experience of emotional and financial freedom; and provide support through a variety of services that are essential for maintaining households in a manner that is pleasing to God.

Ways to Serve

Responsibilities:

To serve the needs of married couples through: Bible Study, Sunday School, Small Groups, Counseling, Discipleship, Mentoring, Fellowship, Activities, Seminars, and Retreats.

Meetings:

The Couples' Ministry meets on the 2nd Friday of each month for a time of discussion and encouragement. Additionally, on months that have a 5th Sunday, we conduct a special Couple's Sunday School Class on the 5th Sunday. 
We Also strongly also encourage involvement in the regular attendance of Sunday School, Small Group, Bible Study or Discipleship meetings.

Lord Jesus, grant that I and my Spouse may have a true and understanding love for each other. Grant that we may both be filled with faith and trust. Give us the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony. May we always bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other's strengths. Help us to forgive one another's failings and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness and the Spirit of placing the well-being of one another ahead of self.

May the love that brought us together grow and mature with each passing year. Bring us both ever closer to You through our love for each other. Let our love grow to perfection.
