Definition of a Baby
That which makes the home happier, love stronger, patience greater,
hands busier, nights longer, days shorter, purses lighter,
clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, the future brighter.
INFANT DEDICATION MINISTRY
Why Dedication?
The purpose for dedicating your child is to be found in the purpose of the parents. Rightly understand, the ceremony is one of parental dedication. The parents pledge themselves to obey the command of Paul.
Who Should Be Dedicated?
All children in God's kindgom should be dedicated to Him. Just as a person publicly displays his decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Savior through baptism, so to shall parents publicly and formally announce their obedience to the commandment of God. "Provoke not your children to wrath; but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Ephesians 6:4

What Age Can a Child Be Dedicated?
Any child from birth until s(he) is of the age when they can understand and decide to give their own lives to Christ through the sacrament of baptism.
Where In The Bible Do We Find Dedication Precedent?
The precedent of the ceremony of baby dedication may be found in the Bible as in the presentation of Samuel by Hannah (1 Samuel 1:28) and of Jesus by Joseph and Mary (Luke 2:22). Paul reminded Timothy that, "from a child," he had known the Holy Scriptures (11 Timothy 3:15). Jesus considered "the little ones" infinitely precious, and He said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:14)

Our children are precious gifts from God and we take honor in sharing in some of the responsibilities for you and introducing to the love, grace and ministry of God.
