G.L.O.W. Children's Ministry Goes Outside-the-Walls

Jesus Loved the Next Generation  -- He said to his disciples, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t keep them away. God’s kingdom belongs to people like these.” (Mark 10:14, NIRV).

Here at SBCC, we believe God has called us to be actively engaged in Changing the World the way Jesus did – not only our adults, but our little ones, as well!

On Sunday, September 15, approximately a dozen children from the G.L.O.W. (God Lights Our Way) Children’s Ministry Choir anxiously boarded the South Bay bus and traveled to Baypointe Health Center in Hayward.

Lead by the Children’s Ministry Choir Director, Ms. Debra, the children (ages 4-11) ministered to the senior residents with songs, readings, and prayers.  After their program, our little ‘GLOW Fireflies’ handed out gifts of love (socks) to all those in the audience.

Mission opportunities such as this are created so children can experience the love of God, grow in the knowledge of Christ, and make a difference as His hands and feet in the world.  South Bay is proud of our children!
